Three of the latest Samsung handsets will be presented at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week. To be more precise Samsung Corby, CorbyPRO and Galaxy Spica. All these devices come with AMOLED displays, 800 MHz processors and some of them with Android OS.
Samsung Corby uses Touchwiz user interface, easy connectivity to social networking sites and interchangeable back covers which give you plenty of customization options.
News update on Android 2.1

In a press event Google gave some more details about the Android 2.1 operating system, and these news will surely make all the android-enthusiasts happy.
Without any further ado, we’ll just hit give you the most exciting news from this press event: Google Android 2.1 will run on older devices too, as Peter Chou, CEO of HTC ( who was present at the event) confirmed that some of HTC’s older smartphones running on Android will be upgraded to 2.1.

Six new Android phones from Acer

Google’s Android mobile operating system will be found in the upcoming Acer smartphones. According to one of the executives from Acer, six new models will hit the market in the first half of 2010.
The first Android handset built buy Acer was the Liquid smartphone, which started to sell today in Taiwan, and last Wednesday in Honk Kong via CSL.
Android App Store to be launched by Motorola

Seems like in the near future, now that Motorola CLIQ and Motorola DROID have been launched, Motorola will launch it’s own App Store. The rumor is that the shop’s name will be SHOP4APPS.
Seems like some pictures leaked that give a good hint of what the shop will look like; besides the photos, some information on some of the features are also leaked, one of the best news for Android enthusiasts being the fact that the shop will be easily accessed using their handsets.

Motorola MILESTONE sold out

Unboxing of Acer Liquid

Yesterday we wrote about the two new Android powered handsets that hit the UK stores, the Motorola MILESTONE and the Acer Liquid. Today, we have a video of the unboxing of Acer Liquid.
Acer Liquid is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running at 768Mhz, and has 512 MB of ROM and 256 MB of RAM which can be increased by using a microSD card ( a 2GB comes in the package, but the devices supports up to 32GB).
